One of the issues that have come up is sticks and debris getting hung up in the guide wheels. Any time the wind blows the tracks get covered with sticks from the pine trees. Even the small stuff, 1/2″ size, will get hung up. Something like the image below should work. I would make it so it just snaps on and off. Here is a video of the cow catcher in action.
